Tammy Fowler has resided in the Houston area for her entire life. After graduating from Waller High School, she attended Texas A&M University where she received a degree in education. Upon graduation, Tammy taught in the Fort Bend and Cy-Fair Independent School Districts for 17 years. Tammy now resides in Tiki Island, Texas with her husband. Although she is no longer teaching, Tammy remains active in local schools on a volunteer basis and is also active in local charities. This, combined with her knowledge of the area, serves her clients well in finding the ideal community for their future homes. She also understands that each person is different and will work diligently to find a home that meets all of your needs. Be it representing her clients as a buyer or seller, Tammy will work hard to ensure that their goals are realized and provide them with the highest level of professional service.

I have fond childhood memories of Galveston and appreciate the advantage that growing up on the island has given me in my career as a local real estate professional. My family moved to Galveston when I was 5 years old from New Orleans, La. I attended St Mary’s Elementary, O’Connell Junior High and O’Connell High School. Our family home was one block from the seawall and I spent most of my summers on the beach surfing and fishing.

After high school, I attended the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978. After graduation, I was drawn back to the coast and I joined a Houston-based geophysical exploration company embarking on a 25-year career in the international oilfield services industry. Over the years, my job responsibilities required travel to all parts of the world and included longer residencies in Anchorage, Alaska, London and Rio de Janeiro.

Upon leaving the oilfield services industry in 2003 and returning to the United States from London, my wife and I settled in Jamaica Beach. We bought a waterfront home and have been remodeling it ever since! We could have settled anywhere, but the Galveston sand and salt air beckoned and returning home seemed the right thing to do. We don%u219t regret it one bit, and moving to the "West End" is proving to be a very positive quality-of-life decision. When not working, I can be found fishing in West Galveston Bay, working in our garden, or walking our Airedale Terrier, Olive Oyl.

Having the advantage of growing up here means I have an in-depth familiarity with all neighborhoods and all aspects of living on Galveston Island. My experiences with professional IT Systems, business software, health & safety management issues and multi-cultural environments compliment my professional real estate skills. Most importantly, being professionally trained in a service-driven environment compels me to offer the highest quality of customer service. As the world of real estate transactions evolve, it is clear that only technology and first-class service will differentiate real estate practitioners.

Since being licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Real Estate Salesperson, I have obtained the following accreditations from the National Association of Realtors: ePro – Internet Marketing, GRI – Graduate Realtor Institute, ABR – Accredited Buyers Representative, SFR – Short Sales and Foreclosures. I am an active member of the Houston Association of Realtors and the Galveston Association of Realtors.

I have always had a passion for helping people, I was a registered nurse for many years as well as a personal trainer. After relocating to Jamaica beach in 2014, I made the professional change to real estate. I make customer service my number one priority when finding my client's their dream home. I am hard-working, devoted and don't stop until the job is done right! I currently live on Dickinson Bay with my husband where we enjoy hosting guest, playing with our dogs, and evening golf cart rides. I also have a big adventure side, I love paddle boarding, cycling and crossfit. One of my biggest joys is spending time with our two children.

As a native Galvestonian (BOI) Born on the island has always been a special place for me. After graduating, from Ball High School, I went to work for The San Luis Resort as the Condominium Concierge. While being a great opportunity to meet many interesting people who visit the Island such as Vice President Al Gore, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, Francis Newman Moody, Ruth Harris Kempner and Mr. and Mrs. Hershey (chocolate) six generation descendants from Pennsylvania, I went off to Pharmacy school in South Dakota. Then I went to work for Rapid Regional Hospital Pharmacy and Pharmerica. While expanding my knowledge of Medicines I still yearn to be back home in Galveston, an island with its rich and colorful history. The next 15 years were very busy for me while filling prescriptions at Walmart Pharmacy at the same time I took on a Management position with ABL Management. During this busy period I began to invest in my future with real estate which peeked my interest. Now as a Realtor I am able to pursue my passion for real estate and customer service in facilitating your buying and selling experience in a professional environment. Kimberly Gaido was born and raised in Galveston and has a sincere passion for life on the Island. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where she held membership as a Pi Beta Phi and a scholarship to the tennis team for 4 years. Kimberly spent 20 years in the hospitality business perfecting her customer service skills. She also obtained a culinary arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York where she learned how to entertain friends and family with culinary delights. For the past 15 years Kimberly has been involved in outside sales within the medical field. Her years in sales coupled with customer service have taught her that strong values, integrity and passion are the cornerstones to building trust and finding a customer the right home to fit their needs. Growing up around the water Kimberly has a particular love for fishing and hunting. Her children are her six English pointers and Labradors that keep her company in the duck blind and roaming the south Texas senderos. In the summer, if not in the office, you will find her playing golf at the Galveston Country Club or fishing the Galveston Bays.

With an annual average of 25 transactions buying, selling, and leasing properties dating from the turn of the 20th century, I have the experience needed to evaluate the property involved and determine the right pricing. I have been active in the restoration of my own Victorian era houses, and was actively involved in laying the groundwork for the formation of the San Jacinto Historical Conservation District. Currently I serve as the Texas Realtor's Region 10 political involvement committee representative. I am a past Chair of the Galveston Association of Realtors, have been Chair of the GAR Multiple Listing Service, Chair of the City of Galveston Arts and Historic Advisory Committee. I am a two time past Chairman of the Galveston Historical Foundation Events Committee, a past Chairman of the ad hoc Galveston Affordable Housing Committee, and a former Board member of the San Jacinto Neighborhood Association.
