Drawn by the lure of the sea, Marks and his family relocated to Galveston in mid-2015 and now call the beautiful Texas gulf coast home. As a resident and professional in this coastal region, he is intimately familiar with the unique issues related to coastal living, specifically coastal insurance issues (flood, wind), differing building codes and construction requirements. Marks brings a wealth of experience in home renovation, commercial construction, and historic restoration, valuable knowledge given the amount of older homes and historic buildings on the island.

Marks started his career managing a variety of large public assembly, multi-use and commercial properties in markets across the United States. After 25 years of operating commercial properties, 2012 found him jumping into the world of residential real estate, launching his practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. As you can imagine, real estate, like everything else in Las Vegas, was dynamic and always moving, and he quickly became a top producer within his brokerage.


When Marks is not immersed in the world of real estate, he enjoys playing golf on the island's golf courses, nurturing vibrant tropical plants and relishing the freshest local seafood. Simple pleasures include exploring the island on his golf cart, sunset gatherings with friends and quiet time on his porch enjoying the breeze off the water.

I have been a Real Estate Professional for 43 years. My parents owned a real estate office so I grew up in the business. My vast experience and knowledge of the real estate market and mortgage process always results in finding the right property for my clients. My negotiating ability gives my clients an advantage. My wife Debbie and I work as a team. Debbie handles the processing and with her background as a mortgage broker she has the ability to help clients understand the loan process. Country girl at heart with a twist of beach vibes! I grew up riding horses in all events but my main love was barrel racing. I went from junior rodeos up to gaining my pro card in the WPRA. I grew up in central California with the beautiful Sierra mountains as a distant view! I moved to Oklahoma in 2008 and continued to barrel race from Kansas down to Texas. I opened a rehab/fitness center for horses in central Oklahoma. It contained an inground Aqua-tread for horses. I have a passion for taking care of animals in any way! I pour my heart into the care for them! I fell in love with the Galveston Bay on our yearly visits. My love grew into reality when we had the opportunity to move to Lake Jackson in 2021. I have a love for the beautiful ocean view! I do enjoy fishing off the surf or out on a boat! So many great opportunities in the area to catch beautiful fish! I really enjoy morning beach walks to see the sunrise. With the moves I have made in the past, I have had the opportunity to buy and sell my own homes. I have an understanding about being a buyer and a seller ! With that, I bring knowledge of how the process works.
