I have lived all of my life in Galveston County, and on Galveston Island for over 25 years, and love the unique lifestyle that Galveston has to offer from breathtaking sunsets on Galveston's West End to stunning architecture, theater, and shopping in Galveston's Downtown Strand and historic districts. I have 3 children who have all attended Galveston public schools, two who are recent Texas A&M graduates, and one who attends Texas A & M Corpus Christi. My family and I enjoy kayaking, fishing, boating, biking and all of the many outdoor activities available on the Island. Country girl at heart with a twist of beach vibes! I grew up riding horses in all events but my main love was barrel racing. I went from junior rodeos up to gaining my pro card in the WPRA. I grew up in central California with the beautiful Sierra mountains as a distant view! I moved to Oklahoma in 2008 and continued to barrel race from Kansas down to Texas. I opened a rehab/fitness center for horses in central Oklahoma. It contained an inground Aqua-tread for horses. I have a passion for taking care of animals in any way! I pour my heart into the care for them! I fell in love with the Galveston Bay on our yearly visits. My love grew into reality when we had the opportunity to move to Lake Jackson in 2021. I have a love for the beautiful ocean view! I do enjoy fishing off the surf or out on a boat! So many great opportunities in the area to catch beautiful fish! I really enjoy morning beach walks to see the sunrise. With the moves I have made in the past, I have had the opportunity to buy and sell my own homes. I have an understanding about being a buyer and a seller ! With that, I bring knowledge of how the process works. Beginning as a Realtor in August 1967, and receiving my Brokers license in August of 1972. Prior to receiving my real estate license, I worked in the title Industry as a runner, an abstractor, an examiner and then closer (today referred to as an escrow officer.) The title business led to my interest in real estate. Residential, as well as commercial, are my areas of expertise. I recently received the designation of REALTOR EMERITUS from the National Association of REALTORS for having served over 40 years to our industry.I have been a past President of the Galveston Association of REALTORS, served on various committees, including Professional Standards, Education , MLS and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Voted Best REALTOR in Galveston in 2003 by the Galveston County Daily News . I was an adjunct instructor in real estate for 17 years at Galveston College. Taught many courses in different areas of our business. I participated in several developments of historical properties on the island as well as resort properties on the west end beach and bay areas. Recently honored by my colleague's with the Golden Heart Award for being the most helpful in our office to other agents!

Even though technology is a major force in our industry today, I still believe that personal service one-on-one or face-to-face with our clients, is the best way to build lasting relationships. Some of my closest friends started as Prospects, then Buyer or Seller Customers, many more than once or twice.
