This year, I will complete the Texas A&M AgriLife Master Gardeners program to gain invaluable knowledge about plants, gardening, and creating beautiful curb appeal. Again, my goal is to add significant value when selling your property. I am active in my community, having served as a Rotarian for ten-plus years. Volunteering with Galveston County Mainland Food Bank, Devereux of Texas, and writing a social column for the Galveston Daily News, Texas' oldest newspaper, allow me to shine a light on my community. I enjoy making connections and sharing time with family and friends on the beach or in the garden.

I have always had a passion for helping people, I was a registered nurse for many years as well as a personal trainer. After relocating to Jamaica beach in 2014, I made the professional change to real estate. I make customer service my number one priority when finding my client's their dream home. I am hard-working, devoted and don't stop until the job is done right! I currently live on Dickinson Bay with my husband where we enjoy hosting guest, playing with our dogs, and evening golf cart rides. I also have a big adventure side, I love paddle boarding, cycling and crossfit. One of my biggest joys is spending time with our two children.

Drawn by the lure of the sea, Marks and his family relocated to Galveston in mid-2015 and now call the beautiful Texas gulf coast home. As a resident and professional in this coastal region, he is intimately familiar with the unique issues related to coastal living, specifically coastal insurance issues (flood, wind), differing building codes and construction requirements. Marks brings a wealth of experience in home renovation, commercial construction, and historic restoration, valuable knowledge given the amount of older homes and historic buildings on the island.

Marks started his career managing a variety of large public assembly, multi-use and commercial properties in markets across the United States. After 25 years of operating commercial properties, 2012 found him jumping into the world of residential real estate, launching his practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. As you can imagine, real estate, like everything else in Las Vegas, was dynamic and always moving, and he quickly became a top producer within his brokerage.


When Marks is not immersed in the world of real estate, he enjoys playing golf on the island's golf courses, nurturing vibrant tropical plants and relishing the freshest local seafood. Simple pleasures include exploring the island on his golf cart, sunset gatherings with friends and quiet time on his porch enjoying the breeze off the water.
