The biggest change will be the obvious shifts in how we use MLS, conduct business, and present ourselves to clients. The commission issue is significant, and education is key for our members. We must ensure they understand these changes and know how to adapt to the new business model.

I have been a residential Realtor for 16 years. I obtained my Broker's license a few years ago and have since opened my own brokerage. I have two wonderful agents working with me. I work with both sellers and buyers but most of my/our business has been with listings. When you work with both sellers and buyers, I believe it gives you the insight to understand both sides of a transaction. As a result, I think it makes a real estate agent more valuable to their clients. I have done sales from $80,000 to listings over $4,000,000.
