What special or unique characteristics do you feel you would bring to the Director position that would most benefit HAR's members?

Alan plans to bring his natural leadership to the HAR board of directors with Houston's Realtors and the best interest of their business in mind.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing our industry today?

Biggest problem facing our industry is a lack of centralized leadership who is driving the industry forward without any discernible plan or mission. Brokerages are competing against each other to be the most powerful, when they should be finding ways to work together through industry shifts while helping to better educated agents and integrate new technologies that are focused on delivering value to the consumers, who continue to lose faith in the value of a Realtor.
