Bess grew up in Florida first helping her parents remodel their 80 year old home. At age of twelve, Bess's family moved into Stark House. Stark house is a Frank Lloyd Wright heritage home.
At thirteen Bess spent a summer in the Philippines learning how to build. From hand mixing concrete, to hand tying rebar, building in the jungle was unique. Bess continues to be a hands on resource for her clients. Leveraging her experience to find potential in homes others may overlook.

When not guiding, advising or building, Bess can be found running trails throughout Dallas, volunteering at one of many charities she supports Back on My Feet or Slow Food DFW being two, or working on her Jeeps, Jack & Crash.
