My love for real estate, construction and team spirit started as a boy in Germany. I built a two-story clubhouse for my friends and me at our local adventure playground. My love for Texas was sparked by the TV show 'Dallas'. Because of this, I became an exchange student in Copperas Cove, Texas. I attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on a soccer scholarship and graduated with a double degree in Economics/Finance and Marketing. I moved to Houston in 1994.

My career in real estate began in 1997 as a new home consultant with a local builder. After being successful at this level, I moved to a national company. As a new home sales consultant, I got the chance to fulfill my passion to help families and individuals find their perfect home and at the same time, build wealth through real estate. I sold hundreds of homes and was responsible for over $100 million in closings. My knowledge of construction, sales negotiation, and customer service were gained at this time.

Because of the competitive nature of home sales, I received ongoing sales training from industry leaders. In addition, I personally spent considerable time on construction sites, completed hundreds of pre-drywall inspections, and conducted final customer walk-throughs.
