I was born and raised in Louisiana, but moved to Houston, Texas shortly after graduating from college. I instantly fell in love with the city and all of the endless opportunities. Since then I have become a Serial Entrepreneur running multiple businesses in the Social Service Field as well as in the Real Estate Industry as an Investor. I began my career in Real Estate in 2019 and I am excited to be working with you on this amazing and very meaningful journey! I am a native Houstonian. I love being a realtor. My amazing client base consists of first time homebuyers all the way to experienced executives moving from one country to another. Erika received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Mexico and a master's degree in Early Childhood. She began her career in Texas as an elementary teacher and after few years decided to obtain her real estate license in 2011. She continued to teach for several years and decided to work full time as a real estate agent in 2014.


By providing the highest level of integrity and commitment to each one of her clients, she gained experience over the years and obtained her Broker License in 2017.


Her years spent in the education industry helped her gain important skills that allow her to provide the best service to her clients in real estate.


Currently, Erika runs a successful Real Estate business that includes investment, property management, residential and commercial real estate. As a real estate Broker her priority is to make sure her clients are satisfied and comfortable with the real estate process. I have lived in west Houston for over 30 cumulative years.  This has given me a strong appreciation for Houston and all that it has to offer!  My sphere of influence covers a wide range of people including childhood friends, fellow church members, oil field professionals, staffing, and all the support people and friends I have met along the way.

I am a results-focused professional with 20+ years in the work force.  I began my career in Human Resource Management and transitioned to real estate 4 years ago.  I started in this industry by working with a close friend as her assistant while learning to ropes.  Ed and I also started managing our own vacation rental properties in Gatlinburg TN in 2014. We have purchased, gutted and rehabilitated properties in the area and look forward to continuing this side of the business.  I am a hungry member of the NextHome Realty Center Team who can't wait to help you or a friend with their real estate needs.
