When working with a person to list their home, I strive to thoroughly research the market to determine an accurate value, make suggestions as to what will make the property more inviting for the minimum cost, and market the property through multiple online sources to ensure the property sells for the highest price in the least amount of time. I stay in constant contact with the client and answer all calls personally or get back with them at the earliest possible moment.

When working with a client to find them a home, I LISTEN to what they want, what their needs are, what their situation is, and then go find homes that meet that criteria. I make sure they have been pre-qualified by a great lender so that when we find the right home, they can pounce on it. I am a superb negotiator, looking for creative ways to get my client what they want in a win/win/win scenario.

I have an incredible attention to detail, many times catching errors on a closing statement that lenders and title companies miss. I review contracts word by word to ensure they reflect what my client wants. I follow through to the end to make sure of a successful closing. I leave no stone unturned to find a solution when things may become difficult. I am tenacious to get my client the results they want, while establishing and maintaining great relationships with other realtors, lenders, title companies, insurance agents, and inspectors.

Howdy!! I am excited to help you with all of your Real Estate needs. A little bit about me...I did not grow up in Texas, but as they say, got here as fast as I could. I grew up an Army brat and moved more times than I can count. I landed here in Texas after high school to begin college at Texas A&M. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University, was a Special Education and Regular Education teacher for several years before deciding to stay home to raise my two boys. When they started school, I headed back to work, but not to teaching. I began working in real estate as an office administrator, then transaction coordinator. In 2023, I earned my real estate license and am now helping clients in the home buying or selling process. Although I am recently licensed, I have had years of experience in real estate with contracts and title companies and will bring that experience to you now as a licensed agent. I have lived in the Cypress area now for about 20 years so am quite knowledgeable about the area. I pride myself in being honest, thorough, and always putting humans before houses.

Korey Barnett was born and raised in Cypress, where he and his family currently reside. After graduating from Cy-Fair ISD, Korey moved to College Station and graduated from Texas A&M University. He comes in as a Real Estate Agent after six years on the Texas A&M Football Coaching Staff where he specialized in data analytics. Also actively involved in the recruiting process at Texas A&M, he has acquired the skills needed to guide clients through big decisions and help put them at ease while navigating all options. With his in-depth knowledge of Houston and its surrounding areas, as well as his analytical background, he will bring a unique perspective for all clients he represents.
