As a life-long resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth, I have in-depth knowledge and appreciation of the metroplex and its surrounding communities. In 2015, Tarrant and Dallas counties posted the sixth and ninth largest jump in population in the country! It follows that residential and commercial real estate play an important role in the continual growth of these communities, and I am excited to be a part of it!
I have worked as a cost accountant for 10 years prior to real estate, and my background in accounting/finance will help clients accurately identify the current (and potential future) value of each property. Negotiations: Certified with the Real Estate Negotiation Designation, I have extensive experience negotiating on my client's behalf. I try to find out what's important to the other side of the deal, what's easy to give on my client's side and negotiate a deal that is mutually beneficial. This also means knowing how to stand up to pushy agents.
Inspections: I go to all my home inspections, read the inspection reports, I am familiar with what home inspectors look for. I point out issues with a home on first visit, noting any deferred maintenance items that may become an issue down the road. Likewise on the sale side, I can offer advice on what inspectors will be looking for to help make a smoother sale.
