As a fifth generation Houstonian, having grown up in Bellaire, I have watched Houston grow exponentially into the bold and dynamic multi-national, multi-cultural metropolis it is today. Houston has provided the perfect environment to nurture and impart my love of culture to my family with a world-class symphony, opera, ballet and live theater. My husband and I never considered anywhere but Houston to raise our six children.

When our children were little, in between scouts and sports, we spent many weekends exploring open houses in all of the latest developments springing up on all sides of Houston--The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Katy, Pearland, etc--and we would dream of the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. Since I always wanted to travel, in my life after being a stay-at-home mom and small business owner, I reinvented myself into a flight attendant. After 17 years of seeing the world with Houston's hometown airline, I decided there really is no place like home.
