As a fifth generation Houstonian, having grown up in Bellaire, I have watched Houston grow exponentially into the bold and dynamic multi-national, multi-cultural metropolis it is today. Houston has provided the perfect environment to nurture and impart my love of culture to my family with a world-class symphony, opera, ballet and live theater. We love foodie scene in Houston with so many exciting choices-- and with the most restaurants per capita in the U.S. we will never run out of options. My husband and I never considered anywhere but Houston to raise our six children.

When our children were little, in between scouts and sports, we spent many weekends exploring open houses in all of the latest developments springing up on all sides of Houston--The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Katy, Pearland, etc--and we would dream of the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. Since I always wanted to travel, in my life after being a stay-at-home mom and small business owner, I reinvented myself into a flight attendant. After 17 years of seeing the world with Houston's hometown airline, I decided there really is no place like home. Now, instead of providing first class service at 30,000 feet, I provide first class service to families looking to buy or sell their homes on the ground. As a flight attendant, my goal was to provided the attentive and personal service that I wanted as a passenger. As a REALTOR, my goal is to provide the same kind of first class service to my clients that I would want if I were buying or selling the most important and valuable asset, my home, that I am likely to own. More than 43 years in Houston gives Diana Underwood vast knowledge of neighborhoods, schools, shopping and other areas of interest. While she enjoys, and is most familiar with, the Heights, Bellaire and Northwest areas, no part of this vast city is off-limits to this hardworking agent.

“I go wherever my clients need me,” says Diana, who lives in the Northwest suburbs.

Prior to real estate, Diana worked as a treatment coordinator for an orthodontist. “I’ve worked with every possible personality over the years, and I’m very good at problem solving,” she says.

Real estate was a natural progression for Diana, given her people skills, interest in home design, keen knowledge of the city, and, most importantly, timing. “I was ready for a change and I’ve never been happier. I’ve always enjoyed working with people, but real estate is so much more fulfilling. I’m helping people with their real estate needs and that feels really good.”

Diana and her husband, Jeff, have two grown children. When not listing and showing Houston real estate, Diana enjoys spending time with family and friends, dining out, reading, watching movies and walking. She’s also very active in her church and community, donating her time whenever possible. “My husband and I have been very blessed,” says Diana.

When asked about her greatest accomplishment, Diana responds without hesitation. “I have raised two incredible children who have surpassed all of my expectations.”
