Texas native; I am a longtime Corpus Christi resident. My husband and I have been married for 34 years have been blessed with two children and four grandchildren. After 25 years working with a locally owned bank, I joined Group One Real Estate as a receptionist and quickly joined their bookkeeping team. After working for three amazing brokers (one of which founded Group One Real Estate in 1971) and finding Real Estate to be an ever changing and challenging business I obtained my Texas Real Estate Sales License. DEE DEE Cortez was born in San Antonio, Texas moved with her family many times during her childhood–from Untied States to Mexico and Panama to North Carolina, South Carolina, California, and various other locations. Though she didn't know it at the time, she was continuing to develop the people skills that would be invaluable throughout her life. You see DEE DEE takes pride in who she is, what she has accomplished, relationships she has built over the years. Her passion for helping buyers find the perfect home, people she can connect with. She identifies with the people and families who live in Corpus Christi. This area attracts a lot of families; the people who live here are passionate about their neighborhood and schools. We also have a naval air station nearby, so there is some regular turnover with families of the support staff and officers moving in and out. She loves to help people relocate to the area and sell when it's time for something new. Even when she is not busy working in her career, she is looking for ways to expand her knowledge–to acquire the skills she needs to reach her goals.
