Wendy's passion for helping people has been part of her life for quite some time. As a resident of the area for 31 years, she was the Director of Bands and the Music Coordinator of Willis ISD for 27 of those years - continually developing our communities boys and girls into respected young adults. She received her Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Sam Houston State University. Heather is a true Texas girl born in Houston, with stints in Austin and Waco; she loves the Lone Star State! Having moved to Montgomery County while still in grade school, she has seen the evolution of The Woodlands and its surrounding areas. Heather enjoys spending her free time with her loving husband, Adrian, daughter, Samantha, and three furbabies, Lily, Molly, and Lola. She loves to travel (especially to small beach towns in Mexico and to her alma mater Baylor University to visit all things Magnolia), read, bicycle, savor a good cup of coffee, and try new foods. She is also a member and volunteer at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, attending their Harvest services. In addition to volunteering at her church, she is also passionate about raising awareness and funding for such charitable organizations as A21 (an anti-human trafficking organization), World Vision, and Compassion International. Her life's mission is to leave each day and every interaction with those who cross her path a bit better.
