It is in this area where the two schools differ. Youngblood Intermediate’s three out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics and post-secondary. O'Donnell Middle School's five out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Youngblood Intermediate. They make up for 50.64% of student population, followed by African Americans (24.91%), Asians (19.35%), Whites or Caucasians (3.71%), Native Americans (0.93%) and Two or More Races (0.46%).
The student population at O'Donnell Middle School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 44.70%, followed by African Americans (40.73%), Asians (8.77%), Whites or Caucasians (4.58%), Native Americans (0.76%) and Two or More Races (0.46%).
Based on household incomes, the Youngblood Intermediate’s economically disadvantaged students is lower at 84.13% compared to 84.67% at O'Donnell Middle School.
