Choosing the best possible elementary school is critical to a child’s foundational development. In Texas, public school districts adopt curriculum standards set by the State Board of Education. When we compared Swenke Elementary School, which is a part of CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS ISD, with Frazier Elementary School, which is a part of CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.
Swenke Elementary School has a regular student population of 1,007 with a 16.9 students/teacher ratio while Frazier Elementary School has 596 students and a student-teacher ratio of 13.3 students/teacher ratio.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
It is in this area where the two schools differ. Except for post-secondary, Swenke Elementary School earned one out of seven distinctions. Frazier Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in Science and post-secondary.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Swenke Elementary School. They make up for 59.48% of student population, followed by Hispanics (20.16%), Asians (8.54%), African Americans (5.96%), Two or More Races (5.56%) and Native Americans (0.30%).

Based on household incomes, the Swenke Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 10.72% compared to 85.57% at Frazier Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Swenke Elementary School has 43 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 4.27% of student population. Frazier Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 294 or about 49.33% of student population.
