Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
School At St George Place's five out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Bonner Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at School At St George Place. They make up for 37.60% of student population, followed by African Americans (22.16%), Whites or Caucasians (19.53%), Asians (14.64%), Two or More Races (5.41%) and Native Americans (0.40%).
At Bonner Elementary School, Hispanics make up 96.59% of student population, followed by African Americans (1.09%), Whites or Caucasians (0.93%), Asians (0.93%), Two or More Races (0.31%) and Native Americans (0.16%).
Based on household incomes, the School At St George Place’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 53.56% compared to 97.52% at Bonner Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, School At St George Place has 226 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 29.82% of student population. Bonner Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 444 or about 68.84% of student population.
School At St George Place’s bilingual students comprise 29.95%, gifted and talented students, 8.71%, while 6.86% are in the special education program. Bonner Elementary School bilingual students comprise 53.64%, gifted and talented students, 5.58%, and 8.99% are in the special education program.
