Willow Creek Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in Science and 25% closing performance gaps. River Pines Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at River Pines Elementary School. They make up for 61.78% of student population, followed by African Americans (30.21%), Whites or Caucasians (3.70%), Two or More Races (2.96%) and Asians (0.74%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Willow Creek Elementary School, Whites or Caucasians make up 75.31% of student population, followed by Hispanics (15.03%), Two or More Races (5.37%), African Americans (2.50%) and Asians (1.61%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
Based on household incomes, River Pines Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 72.13% compared to 5.90% at Willow Creek Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, River Pines Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 33.05% of its student population compared to 2.15% at Willow Creek Elementary School.
In addition, River Pines Elementary School has 32.06% bilingual students, 2.10% are in the gifted and talented program, while 13.69% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Willow Creek Elementary School with 1.97% bilingual students, 12.52% gifted and talented students and 13.60% students in the special education program.
