River Bend Elementary School has a regular student population of 521 with a 13.4 students/teacher ratio while Greens Prairie Elementary School has 537 students and a student-teacher ratio of 13.6 students/teacher ratio.

Greens Prairie Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in post-secondary and 25% closing performance gaps. River Bend Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at River Bend Elementary School. They make up for 49.14% of student population, followed by Hispanics (21.69%), African Americans (18.43%), Asians (5.18%), Two or More Races (4.41%) and Native Americans (0.19%).
At Greens Prairie Elementary School, Whites or Caucasians make up 76.91% of student population, followed by Hispanics (10.24%), African Americans (5.40%), Asians (3.72%), Two or More Races (3.54%) and Native Americans (0.19%).
Based on household incomes, River Bend Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 55.66% compared to 15.27% at Greens Prairie Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, River Bend Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 8.45% of its student population compared to 3.35% at Greens Prairie Elementary School.
In addition, River Bend Elementary School has 8.45% bilingual students, 5.37% are in the gifted and talented program, while 17.85% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Greens Prairie Elementary School with 3.35% bilingual students, 5.59% gifted and talented students and 18.25% students in the special education program.
