Distinction Designations for Nimitz High School and Lane School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Nimitz High School. They make up for 50.36% of student population, followed by African Americans (43.21%), Whites or Caucasians (2.96%), Two or More Races (1.35%), Asians (0.91%) and Native Americans (0.29%).
At Lane School, Hispanics make up 66.67% of student population, followed by African Americans (27.78%), Whites or Caucasians (4.17%) and Asians (1.39%). There is no Native Americans and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, Nimitz High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 85.11% compared to 73.61% at Lane School.
