Los Encinos Ses's five out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Travis Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Los Encinos Ses is Hispanics who make up nearly 97.39% of student population, followed by African Americans (1.12%), Whites or Caucasians (0.75%) and Two or More Races (0.75%). There is no Asians and Native Americansstudents in the school.
At Travis Elementary School, Hispanics make up 87.03% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (6.73%), African Americans (4.99%), Two or More Races (1.00%) and Native Americans (0.25%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Los Encinos Ses’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 89.55% compared to 99.00% at Travis Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Los Encinos Ses has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 18.28% of its student population compared to 5.49% at Travis Elementary School.
Los Encinos Ses has no gifted and talented student, while 11.94% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 17.54% students.
