Distinction Designations for Lewis Middle School and Mead Middle School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Lewis Middle School is Hispanics who make up nearly 74.44% of student population, followed by African Americans (21.75%), Whites or Caucasians (1.49%), Two or More Races (1.39%), Native Americans (0.46%) and Asians (0.28%).
At Mead Middle School, Hispanics make up 95.05% of student population, followed by African Americans (3.39%), Whites or Caucasians (1.10%), Native Americans (0.37%) and Two or More Races (0.09%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Lewis Middle School’s economically disadvantaged students is lower at 88.57% compared to 91.38% at Mead Middle School.
