Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Both schools garnered only one distinction designation or award for performance. For L G Pinkston High School this is in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA) while Skyline High School secured one for Social Studies.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in L G Pinkston High School is Hispanics who make up nearly 74.53% of student population, followed by African Americans (22.78%), Whites or Caucasians (0.97%), Asians (0.60%), Native Americans (0.60%) and Two or More Races (0.52%).
