When we compared Gleason Elementary School, which is a part of CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS ISD, with Danish Elementary School, which is a part of CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS ISD, we noted a big difference in ratings.
Gleason Elementary School has a regular student population of 908 with a 17.1 students/teacher ratio while Danish Elementary School has 953 students and a student-teacher ratio of 12.9 students/teacher ratio.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Gleason Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in post-secondary. Danish Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Gleason Elementary School. They make up for 51.21% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (16.52%), Asians (14.21%), African Americans (13.33%), Two or More Races (3.74%) and Native Americans (0.99%).
The student population at Danish Elementary School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 43.34%, followed by African Americans (35.78%), Whites or Caucasians (10.18%), Asians (7.03%), Two or More Races (2.94%) and Native Americans (0.73%).
Based on household incomes, the Gleason Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 62.22% compared to 81.22% at Danish Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Gleason Elementary School has a higher number of English Language Learners comprising 29.52% of its student population compared to 27.60% at Danish Elementary School.
Gleason Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 28.52%, gifted and talented students, 4.74%, while 8.70% are in the special education program. Danish Elementary School bilingual students comprise 26.86%, gifted and talented students, 3.15%, and 12.49% are in the special education program.
