When we compared Frazier Elementary School, which is a part of PASADENA ISD, with Pearl Hall Elementary School, which is a part of PASADENA ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Frazier Elementary School's five out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Pearl Hall Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Frazier Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 78.77% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (8.49%), African Americans (8.25%), Asians (2.83%) and Two or More Races (1.42%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Pearl Hall Elementary School, Hispanics make up 90.96% of student population, followed by African Americans (5.27%), Whites or Caucasians (2.82%), Two or More Races (0.56%) and Native Americans (0.19%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Frazier Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 74.76% compared to 92.84% at Pearl Hall Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Frazier Elementary School has 95 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 22.41% of student population. Pearl Hall Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 268 or about 50.47% of student population.
Frazier Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 16.27%, gifted and talented students, 4.25%, while 16.04% are in the special education program. Pearl Hall Elementary School bilingual students comprise 47.83%, gifted and talented students, 4.14%, and 13.56% are in the special education program.
