When we compared Ford Elementary School, which is a part of CONROE ISD, with Giesinger Elementary School, which is a part of CONROE ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.
Ford Elementary School has a regular student population of 917 with a 15.3 students/teacher ratio while Giesinger Elementary School has 810 students and a student-teacher ratio of 16.6 students/teacher ratio.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Giesinger Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in Mathematics. Ford Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Ford Elementary School. They make up for 51.91% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (26.50%), African Americans (16.25%), Two or More Races (2.84%), Asians (1.31%) and Native Americans (0.55%).
The student population at Giesinger Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 48.52%, followed by Hispanics (26.54%), African Americans (13.95%), Asians (5.56%), Two or More Races (5.31%) and Native Americans (0.12%).
Based on household incomes, Ford Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 62.81% compared to 43.95% at Giesinger Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Ford Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 33.59% of its student population compared to 6.79% at Giesinger Elementary School.
In addition, Ford Elementary School has 33.15% bilingual students, 3.38% are in the gifted and talented program, while 10.14% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Giesinger Elementary School with 5.80% bilingual students, 3.83% gifted and talented students and 11.36% students in the special education program.
