Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Eagle Springs Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in 25% closing performance gaps. Ridge Creek Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Eagle Springs Elementary School. They make up for 46.22% of student population, followed by Hispanics (28.78%), African Americans (19.90%), Two or More Races (3.29%), Asians (1.48%) and Native Americans (0.16%).
The student population at Ridge Creek Elementary School is also predominantly by African Americans at 45.56%, followed by Hispanics (45.87%), Whites or Caucasians (3.83%), Two or More Races (2.72%), Asians (1.51%) and Native Americans (0.20%).

Ridge Creek Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 216 or about 21.77% of student population.
