Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Eagle Springs Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in 25% closing performance gaps. North Belt Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Eagle Springs Elementary School. They make up for 46.22% of student population, followed by Hispanics (28.78%), African Americans (19.90%), Two or More Races (3.29%), Asians (1.48%) and Native Americans (0.16%).
At North Belt Elementary School, Hispanics make up 73.44% of student population, followed by African Americans (19.69%), Whites or Caucasians (4.12%), Asians (1.22%), Two or More Races (0.76%) and Native Americans (0.46%).

North Belt Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 321 or about 49.01% of student population.
