Cypress Woods High School’s regular student population is 3,185 with a student-teacher ratio of 16.1 students/teacher ratio. The student population at Cypress Falls High School is 2,880 students and a student-teacher ratio of 14.5 students/teacher ratio.
Cypress Woods High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A (90-100) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 94 in student achievement, 87 in school progress and an impressive100 in closing performance gaps. It scored 96 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.
On the other hand, Cypress Falls High School earned a State accountability rating of B. The school posted 85 in student achievement, 87 in school progress, 81 in closing performance gaps and 85 overall in post-secondary readiness.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Both schools garnered only six distinction designations or awards for outstanding performance. These are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Cypress Woods High School. They make up for 47.19% of student population, followed by Hispanics (26.53%), Asians (11.74%), African Americans (11.05%), Two or More Races (3.27%) and Native Americans (0.19%).
At Cypress Falls High School, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 55.94% of student population, followed by African Americans (20.00%), Whites or Caucasians (13.30%), Asians (7.22%), Two or More Races (2.57%) and Native Americans (0.94%).
Based on household incomes, the Cypress Woods High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 27.19% compared to 68.68% at Cypress Falls High School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Cypress Woods High School has 97 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 3.05% of student population. Cypress Falls High School has significantly more ELLs at 385 or about 13.37% of student population.
Cypress Woods High School’s bilingual students comprise 2.70%, gifted and talented students, 12.72%, while 7.63% are in the special education program. Cypress Falls High School bilingual students comprise 12.22%, gifted and talented students, 3.61%, and 10.07% are in the special education program.
