It is in this area where the two schools differ. Clear Horizons Early College High School's three out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics and post-secondary. Clear Falls High School’s only distinction designation is in Science.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Clear Horizons Early College High School. In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Clear Horizons Early College High School has 19 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 4.57% of student population. Clear Falls High School has significantly more ELLs at 88 or about 3.52% of student population.
In addition, Clear Horizons Early College High School has 4.57% bilingual students, 10.34% are in the gifted and talented program, while 0.48% are in the special education program.
