When we compared Burnett Elementary School, which is a part of PASADENA ISD, with Moore Elementary School, which is a part of PASADENA ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Moore Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Burnett Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Burnett Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 73.85% of student population, followed by African Americans (14.17%), Asians (4.99%), Whites or Caucasians (4.79%) and Two or More Races (2.20%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Moore Elementary School, Hispanics make up 73.21% of student population, followed by Asians (9.28%), African Americans (8.49%), Whites or Caucasians (5.57%), Two or More Races (2.92%) and Native Americans (0.27%).
Based on household incomes, Burnett Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 83.43% compared to 76.13% at Moore Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Burnett Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 33.93% of its student population compared to 36.87% at Moore Elementary School.
In addition, Burnett Elementary School has 30.94% bilingual students, 2.79% are in the gifted and talented program, while 18.36% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Moore Elementary School with 31.30% bilingual students, 4.77% gifted and talented students and 14.59% students in the special education program.
