Based on household incomes, Ben Milam Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 84.67% compared to 70.78% at Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Ben Milam Elementary School has 100 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 36.50% of student population. Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School has significantly more ELLs at 179 or about 30.24% of student population.
