Anne McCormick Sullivan Elementary School's four out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, post-secondary and 25% closing performance gaps. Ridgemont Early Literacy Center did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Anne McCormick Sullivan Elementary School is Asians who make up nearly 66.88% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (10.71%), African Americans (10.54%), Hispanics (5.80%), Two or More Races (5.09%) and Native Americans (0.71%).
At Ridgemont Early Literacy Center, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 60.55% of student population, followed by African Americans (34.60%), Whites or Caucasians (2.32%), Two or More Races (1.69%) and Native Americans (0.63%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Anne McCormick Sullivan Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 14.20% compared to 93.04% at Ridgemont Early Literacy Center.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, 19.91% of students at Anne McCormick Sullivan Elementary School are English Language Learners (ELL). On the other hand, Ridgemont Early Literacy Center’s ELL comprise 47.05% of the school’s student population.
