Both schools garnered only one distinction designation or award for performance. For Anderson Elementary School this is in with 25% student progress while The School For International Studies At Bammel secured one for Mathematics.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Anderson Elementary School. They make up for 56.22% of student population, followed by African Americans (24.27%), Whites or Caucasians (14.94%), Two or More Races (2.90%), Asians (1.04%) and Native Americans (0.41%).
At The School For International Studies At Bammel, Hispanics make up 68.75% of student population, followed by African Americans (26.25%), Whites or Caucasians (1.25%), Asians (1.25%), Native Americans (1.25%) and Two or More Races (1.25%).
Based on household incomes, Anderson Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 83.40% compared to 76.25% at The School For International Studies At Bammel.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Anderson Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 26.76% of its student population compared to 51.25% at The School For International Studies At Bammel.
Anderson Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 26.97%, gifted and talented students, 5.19%, while 11.62% are in the special education program. The School For International Studies At Bammel bilingual students comprise 100.00%, gifted and talented students, 5.00%, and 2.50% are in the special education program.
