Distinction Designations for Treasure Forest Elementary School and Bunker Hill Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Treasure Forest Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 90.21% of student population, followed by African Americans (7.69%), Whites or Caucasians (1.86%) and Native Americans (0.23%). There is no Asians and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
The student population at Bunker Hill Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 48.43%, followed by Asians (25.34%), Hispanics (17.69%), Two or More Races (4.65%), African Americans (3.75%) and Native Americans (0.15%).
Based on household incomes, Treasure Forest Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 96.97% compared to 15.89% at Bunker Hill Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Treasure Forest Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 73.66% of its student population compared to 21.14% at Bunker Hill Elementary School.
In addition, Treasure Forest Elementary School has 73.19% bilingual students, 3.50% are in the gifted and talented program, while 15.85% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Bunker Hill Elementary School with 20.69% bilingual students, 13.79% gifted and talented students and 8.55% students in the special education program.
