Fox Elementary School's five out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. McDougle Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in McDougle Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 78.49% of student population, followed by African Americans (11.82%), Asians (6.78%), Whites or Caucasians (1.36%), Two or More Races (0.97%) and Native Americans (0.58%).
The student population at Fox Elementary School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 42.40%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (22.34%), African Americans (21.27%), Asians (7.40%), Two or More Races (6.19%) and Native Americans (0.40%).
Based on household incomes, McDougle Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 87.21% compared to 52.49% at Fox Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, McDougle Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 58.91% of its student population compared to 25.17% at Fox Elementary School.
In addition, McDougle Elementary School has 61.24% bilingual students, 1.74% are in the gifted and talented program, while 13.76% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Fox Elementary School with 30.15% bilingual students, 5.65% gifted and talented students and 11.04% students in the special education program.
