Virtual Summer Fun in Sugar Land!

Sugar Land, TX – Come party with the city of Sugar Land during these virtual community activities that promise to be a ton of fun for attendees! The Virtual Summer Series is scheduled from Sunday, July 26 to Friday, July 31.

During the last week of July, the Parks and Recreation Department will host a virtual daily Summer Series to coincide with National Park and Recreation Month.

To support this year’s theme of “We are Parks and Recreation,” the department’s diverse programs and services will be highlighted through engaging virtual activities that will take place throughout the week.  Residents are encouraged to check www.facebook.com/SugarLandParks for full activity schedules and times.

The week of activities will end with a virtual concert hosted by local band Counterfeit and special performances by speed painter Visual Paint and dance group Tropical Rhythms.

Through the Virtual Summer Series, residents will have the opportunity to celebrate summer safely and share Sugar Land’s parks and recreation story using the hashtag #WeAreParksAndRec.

For more information about the upcoming Virtual Summer Series, visit Sugar Land Parks and Recreation at www.sugarlandtx.gov/SpecialEvents  or call (281) 275-2825. For other updates, follow Sugar Land Parks and Recreation on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @SugarLandParks.
