Brittany Lakes

Beautiful Brittany Lakes...

I love Brittany Lakes.  I feel so emotionally, and spiritually attached to Brittany Lakes for so many reasons.   When I first heard of Brittany Lakes it was probably around 2001 and my Division President for U.S. Homes told me that after I finished selling out Cedar Landing in League City I would be able to move to Brittany Lakes and sell those!  I was so excited I even drove to Brittany Lakes and at the time not yet knowing what sections, streets would be mine. I drove through the areas of Island Falls, and Breezeway Bend etc.  Eventually I found out that these areas were already reserved for Perry Homes and Coventry Homes, and realized we would in fact be in the new phase of Brittany Lakes near Landing Blvd.  I have literally watched the contractors dig the huge lake, and prepare it for water.  I watched the streets being poured section by section... sidewalks, trees, and plantings appear one by one.  It is just so satisfying to watch a vast area of dirt turn into a beautiful community with beautiful homes and families inhabiting the area. 

I created a waiting list for Brittany Lakes while I was working in Cedar Landing and before U.S. Homes even opened for sale in Brittany Lakes I had over 50 families that wanted to be contacted.  Several of them even had their floor plans picked with no pricing available yet!  Needless to say I hadn't even set up my office and there was a line of families out the front door waiting to invest in the home of their dreams.  So I quickly had to call the entire list of families and by the weekend had written 14 sales, 9 of them in one day.  Families were literally waiting in a line through out the model for their turn.  It was amazing!  So within 1 month I had written 52 sales and we were well on our way to building out Brittany Lakes with a bang! 

U.S. Home had been purchased by Lennar Homes and were then in the process of merging with Village Builders.  So within a month after selling 52 homes we then had to go to all of our families and tell them that we were now Village Builders.  Village Builders kept some of the U.S. Home plans incorporated some of their plans and created a master plan line up that has been quite successful for Brittany Lakes.  So from 2003-2006 I enjoyed helping hundreds of families build and invest in the American dream!  I truly enjoyed every minute. I now have obtained my Real Estate license in 2007 and have enjoyed the pleasure of helping families sell and buy the beautiful homes in Brittany Lakes.

I love Brittany Lakes and the beautiful winding roads as you come from the main entrance.  The beautiful walking trails with trees sprinkling the sides, maturing every year.  I love the beautiful lakes, the bright blue lake at the entrance greets you with a surprise.  The small lake with pebbles adjacent to the pool and main park.  The vast lake with peaceful fountains spraying amidst fish, turtles, & ducks. I love the main park area along with the two other smaller park areas... perfect for families to get out for a quick walk and play time with their small ones.  I love the tennis courts available for those who want to give it a try, or the professionals!  I love the relaxing pool area perfect for those steamy days to take dip and cool off.  I love all of the families that chose to spend a part of their life here in Brittany Lakes.  I love all of the homes, each with their own style/design.  I love the peaceful location of Brittany Lakes, not too close to freeways, but not too far either. 

Brittany Lakes offers so much value for the money compared to other communities in League City.  You get so many of the master planned community features, yet the home values, and HOA dues are reasonable!  Current home values range from $160's - $270k.  And the HOA dues are $475 annually.  Brittany Lakes children attend top rated schools Bauerschlag, Victory Lakes & Clear Springs.  Another reason to make Brittany Lakes your home too.

I can't explain it any better than feeling like you are connected to the community because I have spent so many hours, so many years, planning the floor plans, brick colors, elevations for each and every lot. Brittany Lakes has truly been and continues to be a pleasure to live in AND help other families sell or invest in the home of their dreams.
