Stella Sola at 1001 Studewood to start serving brunch in mid February

Stella Sola, located in the Heights area at 1001 Studewood across 10th Street from Glass Wall The Restaurant, recently opened and will start serving brunch in the middle of February from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.  I called the restaurant to confirm because they were supposed to start serving brunch this past weekend and the hostess did not give an exact date, but expects it to be the middle of next month.  Below is info from the restaurants website if you have not eaten here yet.  Enjoy!

THE FOOD
Stella Sola (which means Lone Star in Italian) features Texas-Tuscan cuisine, where Texas culture and ingredients meet the flavors and influences of Northern Italy.

Stella Sola’s kitchen will make everything in-house — from cured meats and sausages to cheeses and fresh pastas (complete with daily pasta-making demonstrations).

Stella Sola
will also dry-age its own cuts of beef that are then cooked on a wood-burning grill for intensity of flavor.  The menu also includes flat breads, slow braised meat dishes and fresh catch from the Gulf.

THE DRINKS
Stella Sola has a full bar and a cocktail menu designed by Bobby Huegel of Anvil Bar & Refuge.
The wine list boasts near-retail pricing.
