Houston continues to be a top relocation city per U-Haul's recent study.

If you are preparing to relocate to Houston, remember that a local realtor is an essential resource. Most people think of the realtor as simply the person who will help you buy a house. For people new to a large city like Houston, that realtor can do more: provide destination information, school ratings, real estate market trend reports, and connect you with resources like interior designers and contractors. In the event that you need to relocate immediately, your realtor can assist you in finding short term furnished housing, which allows you to focus on your work and take time to find your permanent home. Additionally, your relator can give you insight into the lifestyle of each neighborhood: restaurants (next to real estate, my favorite topic!), arts and culture, parks and recreational activities, or proximity to work and schools.
