Jacquie Chaumette and Thomas Abraham support Sugar Land Apartments

Sugar Land City Council members Jacquie Chaumette and Thomas Abraham, both turned their backs on Telfair residents, as they have on the Imperial Redevelopment apartment issue, and quickly voted in favor of 400 apartment units in Telfair. These two at large council members have never spoken up to represent the overwhelming concerns of the community regarding the overcrowding of our schools. Instead, they point the finger at the school district rather than making any effort at reprsenting the community. Jacquie Chaumette is further endorsed and financially supported in the race by Johnson Development and it's company executives. Johnson is planning over 600 apartments in Riverstone just off Palm Royal Blvd and initially requested to build 1600 units at the Imperial site. Please pass this information on to concerned parents throughout Fort Bend ISD. As a REALTOR(R), I have seen the turmoil caused by constant rezoning and little support from self serving politicians. Let's build a $30 million stadium while our kids attend overcrowded schools.
