This post will hopefully provide information on Light the Night Walk held on October 25, 2009 held in Houston and in The Woodlands, Texas.  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk is night that allows us to not only support but also remember those who have fought a battle with cancer.  This event takes place on October 25, 2009 sunday evening and is a fun filled event.  There is music, food and games for the kids.  Paticipant carry an illuminated ballon, red balloons in support of the cause, Whie balloons for those who have survived a battle with cancer and gold balloons in honor of loved ones that did not survive their fight with cancer.

I am a participant and also a team captain.  My team is named Team Sparrows.  I formed this team mainly because I feel that I need to do whatever I can to help support those who are going through this ordeal and hopefully one day finding a cure, plus about 5 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 hodgekins lymphoma.
Even though I was given just a few weeks to live, I fought and beat this horrible disease.

I would love to have as many people as possible join me and help me raise money for this great cause.  If your interested and would like more information, or if you can't help raise money and join my team, but can donate, I would greatly appreciate it.
