Friendswood ISD Offers Community Water Aerobics Classes

WATER AEROBICS INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS:
All classes are led by certified water aerobics instructors and are 60 minutes in length. Tuesday-Thursday classes are $30 for the introductory session and Monday-Wednesday-Friday are $50 for the introductory session (Cash or check payable to FISD). This introductory session is for four weeks, September 7 through October 1. Enrollment in any class is limited to the first 25 paid enrollments. Future classes will be 8 weeks in length with fees adjusted accordingly.

Classes:
Evenings 6:30-7:30 M-W-F, or T-Th. These classes are deep water only and use "Aquajogger" equipment. Participants should be comfortable in deep water and will be supported with the "Aquajogger" buoyancy belt. Other "Aquajogger" equipment will be added under the guidance of the instructor. This is a no impact workout program that can be easily adjusted to individual needs and goals.

Mornings 9-10 and 10-11 T-Th. These classes will have access to the entire pool under the guidance of the instructor and may include shallow and deep water workouts to adjust to individual needs. "Aquajogger" equipment will also be used in these classes.

To sign up, come by the Friendswood Aquatic Center, 1115 Falling Leaf between 6 am and noon and 1 to 4 pm and beginning August 31st between 6 am and noon and 1 until 8 pm.
