My wife was changing the chemicals in the pool earlier today. My 3.5 year old son said.. "Daddy, what's mommy doing outside?"
So out we went. Mommy explained that she was putting acid in the pool and "balancing the chemicals." I explained to my son that once acid was poured into the pool that you could not swim in it for the rest of the day.
Later that same afternoon a friend who I hadn't seen in awhile stopped by with his wife. We all went out back, sat by the pool and visited.
In the middle of the conversation & from absolutely nowhere my son Preston says.. "My daddy says you can't go in the pool because it has a lot of ass in it & it's not good for you."
