Joi has been a REALTOR® in Austin since 2004 and an Austin resident since 1995. She can help you with buying and selling homes, as well as finding investment properties. She works to provide the highest level of customer service, prides herself on attention to detail, and sees herself as an advisor and guide to her clients. Joi has a low-pressure style combined with enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their goals, whether that is finding the perfect home or investment, or selling at a great price. She tries to make the process of buying and selling homes enjoyable and as smooth as possible. Her motto is "Be Kind and Work Hard." She is proud that most of her business comes from referrals and hopes this serves as a testament to the level of service and expertise she can provide. After many years at a small brokerage and then on her own as an independent Broker, Joi is excited to be a part of Realty Austin. She is able to provide the same customer service as always, but now has access to resources, industry-leading technology, and innovative marketing that Realty Austin provides. This allows her to improve the services she provides to repeat and future clients. Joi has managed several of her own rental properties and short-term rentals for many years. In 2013, Joi and her husband built a custom "5-star green" home near Zilker Park. This personal experience helps her guide her clients who are interested in building or investing. She has a network of professional vendors, lenders, inspectors, and contractors to which she can refer clients. Joi and her husband have three energetic sons who are students at O'Henry Middle School, Headwaters School and Athena Montessori Academy. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, hosting parties, trying new restaurants and enjoying live music in Austin. As a Texas native and a real estate professional, I recognize and value the trust my clients place in me and I strive every day to exceed their expectations. Prior to entering real estate, I served my country in the United States Army, fulfilling my obligations stationed at the Pentagon. Serving our country was an honor and having that experience instilled in me the discipline it takes to build a powerful real estate business.

Outside of real estate, I take pride in helping other local business owners by serving as Vice President on the North Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce Executive Board and by giving back to my community with my focus being to help Hispanic Americans achieve the ultimate dream, to own their own home.
