Drawn by the lure of the sea, Marks and his family relocated to Galveston in mid-2015 and now call the beautiful Texas gulf coast home. As a resident and professional in this coastal region, he is intimately familiar with the unique issues related to coastal living, specifically coastal insurance issues (flood, wind), differing building codes and construction requirements. Marks brings a wealth of experience in home renovation, commercial construction, and historic restoration, valuable knowledge given the amount of older homes and historic buildings on the island.

Marks started his career managing a variety of large public assembly, multi-use and commercial properties in markets across the United States. After 25 years of operating commercial properties, 2012 found him jumping into the world of residential real estate, launching his practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. As you can imagine, real estate, like everything else in Las Vegas, was dynamic and always moving, and he quickly became a top producer within his brokerage.
When Marks is not immersed in the world of real estate, he enjoys playing golf on the island's golf courses, nurturing vibrant tropical plants and relishing the freshest local seafood. Simple pleasures include exploring the island on his golf cart, sunset gatherings with friends and quiet time on his porch enjoying the breeze off the water.

As a young adult I started a career in International Logistics quickly moving up the corporate ladder. Although I enjoyed the fast pace environment and learned a great deal, I decided to expand my horizons and pursued my interest in real estate. In 2002 I launched my career in residential real estate as an investor purchasing properties and managing a portfolio of residential leases. In 2008 I earned my real estate license and in 2012 I attained my real estate broker's license. Over the years my experience and expertise has been a driving factor in creating enduring relationships with my clients. Because of this I have a thriving network of client and business referrals. Jimmy Simien has been a Clear Lake resident for over 30 years. A 1988 graduate of Clear Lake High School and a 1994 graduate of the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Jimmy started his professional career in banking and corporate finance prior to his transition to real estate in 2002. In 2009 Jimmy branched out on his own and Simien Properties was born. Sylvia was born in Germany and graduated from Moravian College with a degree in business management and computer science. She moved to the United States and settled in New York. Sylvia also lived abroad, in England, South America, and Singapore, for 10 years before coming to Houston in 1999. Sylvia is a supporter of the Assistance League of Houston, the American Diabetes Association, and the Autism Society of America. When not working, she enjoys theater and traveling. Sylvia is married and the mother of three grown children

Meredith Levine earned her B.A. in French at Yale University and her J.D. at the University of Texas at Austin, and was the founder and broker-owner of Friendswood-based real estate brokerage Levine & Co., which joined Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty in August 2020. As a real estate broker, Meredith has spent years working with individuals and families as well as attorneys, guardians, institutional trust departments, executors and administrators in the listing and purchase of real estate. She approaches each transaction with a client-centric focus which, when combined with her extensive experience, makes every real estate transaction as seamless as possible.
Meredith's leadership background means she is practiced at advocating for her clients' best interests in the ever-changing world of real estate. She prides herself on serving as a trusted advisor, answering all questions honestly and clearly, as well as engaging in deep discussions around client needs to solve their unique issues.
Meredith's expertise in the greater Houston real estate market was built on the wide knowledge base she gained during her career as a commercial litigator with a nationally recognized law firm she draws on this experience to provide responsiveness and diligence during every transaction.
