Lisa worked in commercial property management for six years in the 1980s prior to making the change to residential real estate sales. Her prior experience gives her a wide knowledge of all aspects of real estate and insight into the importance of property condition in pricing and marketing. Lisa is very conversant with new construction and offers new-home buyers valuable guidance in negotiations with home builders.

A believer in continuing education, Lisa holds the coveted Certified Relocation Specialist, Certified Negotiation Specialist and Certified Residential Marketing Specialist designations. She is very involved in community activities and is an active member of the Bay Oaks Women’s Association and the Clear Brook High School Parent Teacher Association.

Lisa is a graduate of Milby High School. She earned a bachelor’s of business administration from the University of Houston Clear Lake where she graduated magna cum laude. Lisa is married and the mother of two sons, one a recent graduate of Texas Tech University and the other a student at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. When not working, she enjoys activities as a University of Houston Football Booster and is a co-founder of the “Crank it Up Coogs Red Campaign.”

In her free time, Aliusha is an accomplished cook and baker, who shares her passion for food through her own food blog. She also enjoys reading and traveling, and is a proud supporter of her family, particularly her two sons who are pursuing engineering careers.

Libby Taft joins Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty this year where she brings her extraordinary business and client service experience to luxury real estate.

Her prior experience in the hospitality industry has taught Libby that personalized service and practices are paramount. Whether it is buying, selling, or leasing your home, she strives to exceed all expectations throughout the entire experience. While she primarily focuses on the Bay Area she also works with clients interested in the inner loop, where she called home for 20 years.

Raised in Baytown, TX, Libby was born with an imagination and ideas as big as her beloved home state. After moving to Houston to attend college, she worked in sales and marketing which led to a career with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, where her love of all things event planning, travel, dining and, most importantly, people thrived.

Libby and her spouse, Lauren Taft, moved to Seabrook, TX in in the spring of 2021, where they are enjoying a slower pace of life on the water with their standard poodle, Axel. They are members of Lakewood Yacht Club and longtime advisory board members of Dress for Success Houston.

John Braun, CCIM, CPM, TRLP, GRI, TRLS started his real estate career in 2003 as a property manager and Landlord leasing agent for a portfolio of office-warehouse, office and retail space totaling about 500,000 sqft, after he got out of the Marine Corps. In 2004 John expanded into sales, tenant and landlord representation for 3rd party clients. Since 2003, John has lease transactions from 1,000 sqft valued at $6,800 to 250,000 sqft lease valued at over $12,300,000, and every level in between. John earned his CCIM in 2005 and his CPM in 2006. John was elected to serve on the board of Directors for The Houston Association of Realtors as one of only two commercial chairs. John was re-elected to his second and now third terms. John has sat on manly different committees at HAR and TAR and currently is the Chair of the Bay Area PALS and Management Central for HAR and on the commercial committee and professional standards at TAR. John also has served as a Director for the Texas Association of Realtors. He is also a Texas Association of Realtors course instructor approved to teach classes for the Texas Association of Realtors, including GRI as well as Leasing and Property Management. John has received the endorsement (ELP: endorsed local provider) by national syndicated talk radio host Dave Ramsey. He is only one of two commercial ELP's in Houston. The Houston Association of Realtors also recognized John as one of the 20 under 40 rising stars in Houston real estate.
