EDUCATION: Marisa graduated from The University of Houston Clear Lake in May of 2017 with a BS in Business Management and minor in Marketing. She has taken extensive coursework in Business Law and Accounting. She studied Real Estate through Champions School of Real Estate and is recognized by the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Houston Association of Realtors, and National Society of Leadership and Success.

In 2010, I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing, and have been fully immersed in real estate ever since. After a few years of getting familiar with the industry, I chose to get my license and commit to helping people find their dream home the way so many of my colleagues and mentors have. I recently became an agent with Simien Properties, one of the top producing teams in the greater Houston area, and I couldn't be happier! Libby Taft joins Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty this year where she brings her extraordinary business and client service experience to luxury real estate.

Her prior experience in the hospitality industry has taught Libby that personalized service and practices are paramount. Whether it is buying, selling, or leasing your home, she strives to exceed all expectations throughout the entire experience. While she primarily focuses on the Bay Area she also works with clients interested in the inner loop, where she called home for 20 years.

Raised in Baytown, TX, Libby was born with an imagination and ideas as big as her beloved home state. After moving to Houston to attend college, she worked in sales and marketing which led to a career with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, where her love of all things event planning, travel, dining and, most importantly, people thrived.

Libby and her spouse, Lauren Taft, moved to Seabrook, TX in in the spring of 2021, where they are enjoying a slower pace of life on the water with their standard poodle, Axel. They are members of Lakewood Yacht Club and longtime advisory board members of Dress for Success Houston.
