I've participated as an instructor of core courses for individuals pursuing a real estate license and was named affiliate of the year for the Bay Area Board of Realtors in 2001. I also have an extensive background in residential mortgage finance having been a mortgage banker/branch manager for two of the top five lenders in the U.S and owner of Gulf Coast Mortgage Corp. My educational background includes a BA in Business from Furman University and graduate studies at the University of Georgia Graduate School of Real Estate. I was born, raised and still currently live in Houston, TX. I graduated with a BA in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and for the past eight years I have been a high school math teacher at South Houston High School. I have been married for four years and have two very active sons, Noe and Matthew, with another one on the way! In my free time I like working out, especially running-I have completed the Austin Motorola Marathon and the Distance Challenge-and spending time with my family.
